Counterpoint posters + Belle Armoire

A last-ditch attempt to not have to pay for Counterpoint tickets...

Alas, I think this is a lost cause. Someone uploaded a sweet deer screen print thing, and it looks kickass. I would have to put in some serious hours illustrating something amazing, and it's due tomorrow, and its a three day weekend, and I'm lazy.

In other news, I'm redesigning my magazine from last year...because it was super boring.

Still some things to fix (the table of contents, the upcoming challenges and charming whatever pages aren't quite there, and the rest of that huge Kaytee Papusza article...) but I'm liking the full page pictures and new photography and new fonts and big titles. Hopefully I can throw some of the photography I did last year in there so this is more of a rearrangement than a complete do over.

Belle Armoire + other stuff

So I'm redoing my website. It was kindof random compared to the magazine, and I don't even know where those rounded rectangles came from. So, now I'm goin for a more simplified, photography based phenomenon...or something. Yeah, I don't know either. I'll post here some updates as I go, but here's what I have right now (not much...):

Aaand my magazine. I think I'm done? I might add some desaturated ads in the gray boxes and experiment a little with the layouts, but this is probably what's going to happen.

And here's what I have so far on the calendar. It's a little chaotic right now, but I like where this is going.

I also am playing with punctuation and bold colors..I can't decide whether or not this is a cop out.

Aaand here's what I have to Paige's website. Nottttt much. I'm not sure how I feel about this... it looks a bit like a 5th grader obsessed with My Chemical Romance made it. Well, it's a work in progress.

Belle Armoire

I finished a couple things for Belle Armoire tonight. I think I'm pretty close to being done. Now it's just widows and orphans and making sure everything is cohesive and consistent. Of course, now that I've said this, something terrible will happen and I'll have to start over. Maybe I should get out the external hard drive just to be safe...
