Fortune Days + the crazy

And so ends the last spring break of undergrad. The crazy is imminent, I can feel it.

My (finished) music video:

Personal logo edits...better without connecting to the letters?

Drop poster with more than just the logo:

Whoa super saturated...Here's the regular one too:

Just for fun: heard this at 3am waiting for the subway in nyc. turns out there's crazy people there too haha

Other stuff to finish tonight: post/compositing on music video, re-motion track some clips?, personal website inspiration, personal branding/stationary, fix drop poster, liz's logo explorations... it's gonna be a long one. i'll keep you posted.

...pun intended.

Fortune Days + Grooveshark update

Minute 22 seconds. Gettin there.

Also planning on getting some stuff done on the Grooveshark email campaign thing. I'm not sure I want to replace my brochure completely though--maybe they'll be siblings and I'll keep both.

Fortune Days

50 seconds down, 45 to go.

Music video progress...It looks like I'm going to have to go back and re-motion track some of the early stuff. Which is going to be a pain. Some of these clips make me want to punch myself with how shaky they are, though.

Touch the Earth

Just a quickie. I'm going for a vintage, travel, WPA-inspired look. Maybe throw an emblem on there...who knows. This would be used on a blog, brochures, posters, etc. I'm going to see if I can make a smaller, simpler one for maybe stenciling on rental equipment or something.

Also a screen from my music video:

Masking out that skyline is being a bitch.

Music Video Storyboards

These are pretty vague and random-looking without the 3d stuff in there...but anyway. It's at least the beginning of a plan. This is probabaly going to end up being longer than a minute...2:00 at least, unless I can think of some elegant way to edit my soundtrack shorter or make some smoother transitions here. All but some of the last nature-y shots are mine, and I have base video for most of the city stuff. I'd still like to go up to the top of a few buildings though...Sims...Sean...
And then I just have to figure out a time when bipolar Georgia weather won't screw me over and go to Tallulah Gorge or some park in Alpharetta or something to get some good nature-y shots.

I'm planning on going into C4D later tonight to start messing around with abstract shapes and textures that I could animate through these environments, so I'll post some screens of those too.

The song I chose:

Aaaand my shorter 1:40 edit of it:
